No membership forms. No deposits. No fine print. Ba Boook Corner was designed to make reading as frictionless as possible for everyone in Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad.
We use a Progressive Web App (PWA) — it lives in your browser but works like a real app. No play store download, no iOS restrictions. Just open the link on your phone, tap the browser's menu icon, and select "Add to Home Screen."
Our catalogue spans fiction, non-fiction, self-help, spirituality, children's books, Gujarati literature, Hindi classics, and more. New titles are added every week as our network grows and community members contribute books.
Once you place a request, a trained community volunteer picks up the book from the nearest Boook Corner and delivers it to your home or office. We coordinate this through our app and WhatsApp — so delivery is quick, personal, and reliable.
There's no due date. No fine. No pressure. Read as slowly or as quickly as you like. When you're done, simply request a pickup through the app — and a volunteer will come to collect the book, ready to take it to the next reader.
If the book you want isn't in our current collection, that's not a dead end — it's a request. Tell us what you'd like to read and we'll do our best to procure it and add it to the network.
